Carniville: An Evening Of Mysterious Masquerade
Louisville, Kentucky     2024
First place in the Couples Costume Category. Created custom masks, horns, hooved boots, skull topped staff, gloves with handcrafted nails and coordinated complementary accessories.

First place in the Gilligan’s Island – Ginger competition. Created a custom costume and presented, with flair, on stage.

First place in the funereal hair weaving competition. Created funereal hair weaving art using researched techniques and honoring my friend who died of cancer by crafting with her hair.

Legislative Research Commission

Frankfort, Kentucky     2001 - current


Web / Graphic Design / Illustration
In charge of overseeing design, creation and implementation of posters, business cards, memos, documents, and many other projects for the Legislative Research Commission. I also create and implement reconstruction of outdated designs and streamline production of numerous documents, which also create considerable free space on LRC servers.
Southern Legislative Conference 2016
Art director in charge of logo design and promotional materials.​
Seal and Visual Styling Manual
Designed a new seal as well as a whole manual to create a uniform look for the agency.
Beagle Book
Re-created a coloring book on how a bill becomes a law for the Legislative Research Commission.
Logo and Campaign Poster Design

Designed a family of materials for promoting breast cancer education and money donation for research.


FREELANCE WORK
Queen City Steam
Lexington, Kentucky     2023 – Current
After the success of The International Steampunk Symposium, I decided to expand and move on to create events that would encompass not just Ohio, but Indiana and Kentucky.

River City Steam/Bourbon City Steam
Louisville, Kentucky     2023 – Current
Provided help in an advisory capacity as well as creating logos and graphics for these events. I have also worked the conventions by teaching classes, performing and aiding staff where needed.

Haute/Confident
Lexington, Kentucky     2024 – 2025
This project is a wonderful event in which body positivity is shared and local designers get to present their creations. I had the privilege to not only model at Haute, but I also created a clothing line that was modeled on the runway. In 2025, I was asked to create the logo for Confident as well as create another line. I didn’t have time this year, but will be presenting in 2026.

The International Steampunk Symposium
Cincinnati, Ohio     2022 – 2023
Obtained ownership of a long running Steampunk cosplay convention, and created the theme "Steampunk Under The Big Top" for 2023. Created brochures, maps, business cards, posters, postcards, tags, banners, pins, buttons as well as wrote copy, promotions, created budgets, contracts and built the convention basics from the ground up.

Frankfort International Jazz Day Celebration/Kentucky State University
Frankfort, Kentucky     2022 – 2025
Created numerous designs and promotional materials for multiple events involved with the International Jazz Festival as well as promotional posters for the KSU Choir and Scholarship programs.

Imaginarium
Louisville, Kentucky     2019 - 2025
Began working with this convention as a Cosplay Specialist promoting Steampunk. As our relationship grew, I began sitting on panels, moderating panels, teaching classes, belly dancing and being an ambassador. I have also created promotional advertisements for social media.

Created a logo for Tim Davis’ Nerf dueling project in which he promotes and facilitates Nerf dueling at Steampunk events.

Researched and painted four illustrations for a story as part of an artist compilation series with all writing by Emilie P. Bush.
 
The Shenanigators/Lil’ Shots
Lexington/Shelbyville, Kentucky & Napoleon/Ohio    2023
These logos were designed for three women whose focus is on empowerment, supporting others and having fun. With the popularity of The Shenanigators, the Lil’ Shots logo was created so that others could be part of the adventures that these founding women create wherever they go.
